Our company is committed to carry out traceability program in accordance with national provisions, Timber Legality Assurance System (SVLK in Bahasa), and Programme for The Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
Our company is committed to always ensure purchase and material usage from certified/verified sources by independent party, legal and not from controversial sources. Our company will not deliberately purchase product or raw material from illegal sources. We ensure that by stressing wood verification program implementation and independent audit for product investigation and traceability to fulfill our commitment in obtaining raw material responsibly.
Commitment in Implementing Social Responsibility :
Lestari Mahaputra Buana is committed to carry out social responsibility program by complying and obeying all regulations applicable for all employees. The company follows and applies all health and safety regulation in factory with intention to create health and safety workplace.
Lestari Mahaputra Buana is committed to communicate this PEFC policy to all employees and related parties. PT. Lestari Mahaputra Buana will do the best to give training and education for all employees and other related parties to ensure competence, knowledge and proper awareness existence among them. PT. Lestari Mahaputrabuana understands PEFC’s Policy for the Association of Organizations with PEFC and explicitly agrees currently and in the future, as long as the relationship with PEFC exists, not to be directly or indirectly involved in the following unacceptable activities:
- Illegal logging or trading of forest products.
- Violation of traditional and human rights in forestry operations.
- Destruction of high conservation values in forestry operations.
- Significant conversion of forest to plantations or non forest use.
- Introduction of genetically modified organisms in forestry operations.
- Violations of any of the ILO Core Conventions as defined in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
